BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Lunches are not the same everywhere.

Lunches are not the same everywhere. In Central Europe they have a light meal which takes you no more than an hour and which is just a break to go on with your working day. What about you? What are the main differences with Spain? Which one do you prefer?

  1. In many countries a type of lunch is defined as a standard that identifies it, for example in the south of Europe they tend to make long lunches of long duration and with a great structure of dishes, being more scarce of time the more to the north.   In the United States, lunch is a short meal and is culturally associated with bag lunch (because most of the time a paper bag is used for transport). In Argentina the lunch is usually a medium between "soft" and "strong" and people adjust it according to their schedules. In Mexico, lunch is the light food that is consumed before noon, usually between 10 and 12 hours. Food customs vary in each region of the country, but usually include an egg dish In Japan bento is often a set of small plates packaged to be taken as a lunch to a place. In Spain, lunch is the most important and abundant meal of the day for Spaniards. It is usually composed of two plates. The habit of having an aperitif before it is usually reserved for special occasions or group meals. In short, there is a wide variety of lunches each one changes depending on the country in which you are.

  2. I’m going to write about the relationship between food and mood. How food can influence our mood? It is simple, it is a good bacteria. Actually, we’re thought to have an average of 39 trillion bacterial cells in the body.

On the one hand, it is proved that changing our diet we are happier. Maybe, it isn’t rocket science. It is known that fast food can increase your risk of heart disease but there is also evidence that what we eat affects our mental health, like make us depression. By the way, the World Health Organization has predicted that by 2020, depression will be the second leading cause of world disability so if you feeling tetchy or exhausted, maybe it’s something you ate.

On the other hand, the rumour about the chocolate it’s true. When we eat some chocolate we can feel stress leave us and happier. It’s because it is a joy stimulant. What’s more, cocoa boosts brain serotonin. A lot of people, especially women during menstruation, self-medicate with chocolate, when brain serotonin goes down. Some edible pick-me ups are proteins, bananas, coffee and tea, turmeric, purple berries and omega-3 fatty acids. On the contrary, some mood downers are sugar, gluten and especially, processed foods.

All in all, I think the best option to eat well is the Mediterranean-style diet, where you are eating fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy fats, nuts and fish as well olive oil. If you eat less sugar food, you will feel much better psychic and physically.

  4. The lunch is very important because when it´s in the morning you need more energy for all the day. You should have a good lunch with a piece de fruit and cereals. Many people on the world don´t lunch each morning because they aren´t have time to do it.

In each country of Europe we can see a lunch different because there are different cultures and different food. There are typical lunch in each country but all people of this country don´t eat this food to breakfast.

When you eat too much fast food you feel more tired. If this is during very time, you can have obesity or some problem of your health. You can have problems with your brain because the body needs nutrients for his good functioning. When you eat health good you can feel better and less tired.

I breakfast all mornings two toast with striped tomatoes and fruit.
