BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  5. The economic situation in Spain is similar to the other European countries, or even worse. Many young people can't find a job easily, so they are forced to live with their parents for a long time, even when they finsih their university carreers.

There are also a lot of people who leave their house because they find a job, but they have to come back because their salaries are very low or because they are fired after a very short period of time.

Governments should improve the working conditions, raise the salaries and create more employment if we don't want lose our best prepared young people, or we will have to emigrate to other countries.

  6. The recent crisis is the cause of this situation, Young people or families haven’t got Money because they don’t work. So young people can’t buy a house or rent a house.

On the one hand, there are some advantages: if you live in your parents’ house, you don’t have to cook, you don’t clear. But you can’t do what you like and you have to give explanations about the think you do.

On the other hand, if live with your parents, you don’t have a private life, and you have obligations which you usually don’t have.

Personally, I would prefer to live on my own although I can’t cook or clean. But I like and I need freedom!

  7. The Spanish young people are the ones who become independent very late in Europe. The average age is around 29 years old.

This is due to the difficult economic situation we are going through, but also because of cultural reasons, such as the quality of life they lead with parents before they become independent. Those who dare to become independent at an earlier age are women.

The first disadvange is that young people between 18 and 34 don't give way to live on their own, due to youth unemployment.

A second disadvantage is the price of housing, so they opt to rent although it is not such an easy alternative.

Some cultural characteristics typical of this country produce this late independence. Parents think that children must not go away. The independence tends to take in complicity with the family.

Young people have matured into a number of things. For example, what they want to do in their life. Nevertheless, a lack of maturity is shown in terms of responsibilities.

I'd like to become independent not very young, but not at the age of 30. And I also would like to have a permanent job, so I would like to buy my own house with my own money.

  8. Currently the lives of young people has changed a lot. A few years ago, many young people get jobs when they were 16 years old, is now very difficult to find work for young even for those with studies or college.

First, the economic crisis is global and many companies closed. And teens have a job getting very low wages and can not buy a house or even rent, buy a car or have a family.

Moreover some Spanish people are working abroad, in countries like Germany or England. The salaries are higher but need to speak English, so many young people can not go to work there.

My family says that everything is changing and maybe my brother and I can not live independent for many years. It is better to study and learn languages to get it.

  9. Why young people don't leave their parents' house?
    I have the answer.
Almost half of young people beetween 18 and 34 years old still live at home with their parents. Only 10%of them prefer to live in the family home.
75% of those who leave at their parents' house and bought a house for them. They have paid 600 euros a month, between 20 and 40 years.
So: youth enemployment and the high cost of bousing explains the young Spanish people increasingly have difficulties for them to leave the family home.
Some young people are living with their parents because they haven't got a job or they don't like working.
When you live with your parents they clean the house, they cook very good and they give you money id you need it.
Some young people pay their parents to live in their house. This doesn't usually happen.
I think when I will be between 18 and 34 years old I will have my house for me.

  12. Lately, children leave home later and later and this is because of different reasons. It is possible that one of them could be the current economic crisis, but there are other reasons

The current economic crisis could be a possible answer to explain why the children leave home when they are 30 years old or older. With the economic crisis there is neither money nor job to become independent. Many young people want to independent but there aren’t any jobs so, if they could get a job, they would become independent, they wouldn’t pay the rental or the mortgage. This is one reason, among many others, to continue living with their parents.

Another reason is that many young people, as it is in my case, hate living alone. I’ve always been with my family and if I went to live alone in a house without another person, I'm sure I would not enjoy it. I like doing the housework, but the loneliness is something that I hate so much! Other people won’t leave home because they prefer that their parents do all things and they don’t do anything.

In conclusion, there are different reasons and opinions not to leave home early, but the most common reason is the economical crisis. But if the boy or girl goes out with someone and they are steady partners, they will want to live together without their parents.

  13. Nowadays there are lots of people who live with their families in parent´s home. But, is there exist the perfect age to become independent?

On the one hand, there are lots of people and teenagers who still live with their parents. When teenagers are studying, and university or high school is in the same city, it is normally that they live with their parents because it is a way to save money. A problem of this, is that people do not easily find a job and houses for young people is harder to get and keep.

On the other hand, there are young people who have to move to another place for studies or work, so, they become independent and stop living with their parents soon. But, also there are teenagers that when they are 18, they prefer to live alone even if they study or work in the same city, because of they like living alone.

To sum up, I think that if someone wants to live alone it is better because it is it's a way to mature even more, but there are different opinions about that.

  14. Today there are many people who are of legal age, who continue to live at home with their parents.

Not all people have to go live outside their homes once they are over 18 years old.
Some people from a very young age have to leave home for work or study, but there are other types of people who live alone because they feel more comfortable.

There is also the type of person who lives with their parents because they have their job or study in the same city or town.

In my opinion it is much more comfortable to live alone since that way you can be calmer, you have more space for your things and you can also live more comfortable when you have a family.

  15. What is the reason why the children leave home so late? Could it be the cause of the economic crisis? Or could it be because they are so lazy that they don't want to do anything?

On the one hand, it may be due to the economic crisis that exists today, since there is no job, so they cannot leave home and start a family, or pay a mortgage, or anything.
On the other hand, it may be because young people are so lazy that they do not want to look for work or study, because they prefer to be at their parents' house, lying on the sofas and being supported by them, so they have no responsibility.

I think that those children who do not want to study or work and only want to be supported by their parents should send them to the streets for a while, so that they would realize how hard life is and how much it costs to bring money to House.

  17. Millions of young adults around the world have to live with their parents because they are jobless. Since the financial crisis started in Spain, in 2008, thousands of people have left the country and others have been forced to live in their parents’ house.

On the one hand, living with your parents can be a positive and comfortable option. For instance, you don’t have to pay bills or rent, you don’t have to cook or do domestic work. What’s more, you can spend a lot of time with your parents and family, in general. Family support and company is always important.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages, too. For example, most people live in small apartments, so there isn’t so much personal space. You can say goodbye to your privacy and the concept of having your own space! Besides, you have to obey the house rules always if you don’t want to live in a continuous disagreement with your parents. Moreover, you can forget about calling your friends over or hosting parties.

To sum up, living with your parents being a young adult can have both advantages and disadvantages. Living with your parents and living by yourself is like living in two different planets. I think it’s important to find a good job once we finish studying in order to become responsible people, socialize, face the real world and be independent.

  18. Have you ever thought about becoming independent if you still live with your parents? A recent study has shown that more than 25% of young people share parents' homes. In my opinion, both living with my parents and becoming independent have different advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, I think that live with my parents is more comfortable because I don't have to pay for bills or do housework every day. For example, I don't have to cook every day or clean the house. Besides, if you live at home, you will have more support and company and you will not feel alone in the hardest moments.

On the other hand, I think that becoming independent is a good idea when you are of a certain age because if you live without your parents, you will mature more and begin to build your own life. Therefore, you don't necessarily have to go live alone, you can rent an apartment with friends but doing it will make you grow as a person and live other experiences.

Taking all into account, not only do I believe that being indepent is a good idea, but I also think that there are many young people who have to become independent at a very early age to study or work.

  20. I think that we have to be independent because there is going to be a day where our parents not be, and we have to know live alone.
A simple thing how to make the diary food, clean the house, pay the house´s things, put the washing machine… It´s look like simple but when you have to do every days you finish very tired.
Well, some people think different. They think that they want to pass the longest time with their parents and for this, they live in their house.
However, some people live with their parents because they think that they don't have to do anything, and this is bad.

  21. Nowadays, living with your parents is a thig that’s not very well seen because the normal thing to do is to live your parent’s home when you have already finished school with approximately eighteen years old; but not everyone leaves home at that age and stays in his parent’s home. This is due because some people don’t want to study nor work and they stay in their home to be look after and cared.

Almost every people have a work and proper studies, which later will make them have a good house and a family. Normally, people’s parents keep them until approximately eighteen years old when they have already studied in school and have to go out to study their career for four or five years; but some people just don’t want to study nor work and they want to be fed by their parents. I think that’s an error because people shouldn’t be looked after, even if you’re grown enough to have a house and a work.

When I finish school, I want to study abroad because I think it’s a great experience to live and to learn other languages and different cultures. It’s not necessary to go so far away, but you must leave home when you finish selectivity and study in other place to form yourself and to learn living alone otherwise, you would never learn how to do things yourself and you’ll need help to do everything.

In fact, I think that everyone should leave their home when they finish school and be more independent to make a different life from their family.

  22. Adolescence is one of the stages of our life, it goes from childhood until you become an adult, that is, from approximately 9 years old to 18 years old. During adolescence we suffer physical and psychological changes.
The physical changes are: your voice changes, armpit and pubic hair grows, facial hair appears, you get taller...
The psychic changes: your way of thinking and your behavior is changing, there are more confrontations with your family…

At this time of your life you spend most of the time at school and at home, in it you think that you want to be when you grow up, you become more mature...
You must choose the friends that are best for you because they are the ones that will influence you to be a good person and not make mistakes.
During this period you enjoy more freedom than in childhood.
In adolescence, most adolescents try alcohol, something dangerous, because if you abuse it, it has negative repercussions. At this stage, feelings towards another person arise.

I, who as a teenager, think that it is the best stage of life, although for my parents it is not because they suffer our changes and sometimes they do not understand us.
