BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. This interesting article talks about why people feel desire or curiosity going to places like Chernobyl or Auschwitz where, time ago, died a lot of people. It makes you feel another perspective about people's behavior.

I'm not surprised. Many companies use whatever to sell to the curious people. In this case they sell places related to the death. In my opinion it isn´t a bad move. Travelers must take their own decissions and they're not forced to go any site and, if they think that go to Chernobyl is disrespectful, they shouldn't go. But, on the contrary, if they feel curiosity and have money to go... I don't see a problem.

The western citizen is something strange. For example, two of the most recognized filmmakers are Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Both make films with explicit content, and the fake violence has made them famous. The videogames like Call of Duty or Resident Evil have a lot of blood and disagreable scenes but they are sold out in the shops. We feel atraction for the death or the violence and I don't know why.

It could be that death is something normal in the nature but we don't see it in our "civilized" society.
