BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Hi Christine,
I'm here in New York and really enjoying it. They call it the Big Apple. The city is full of skyscrapers and yellow taxies which they call cabs. The shops are fantastic; they are enormous and have several floors. New York is full of people from different parts of the world.

Yesterday people were sunbathing in Central Park because it was so hot. We had a lovely time, but my father left his baseball cap on the grass. We have visited the Metropolitan Museum and have seen the Statue of Liberty, but you are no longer allowed to climb it since the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Tomorrow we are going to Broadway to see Grease.

    Keep in touch,
    Elena.

  20. Hi, William

I'm in Cambrigde(England). It's snowing and freezing. In this city, everybody rides bike and there are many colleges, it is such a beautiful city where I have visited many places

I've also visited a town called Ely, which has the longest cathedral in England. And I've also visited the capital of England: London, there, I've visited the Buckingham Palace, but we couldn't see the Change of the Guards, because of the weather. Other monuments I have visited are the London Eye, the Big Ben, the British Museum... José Luis was really nervous because, in the British Museum he couldn't see everything in an hour.

Tomorrow I'm going back to Spain. I don't want to, but I already miss the sun. I will arrive late in Motril and we are going to miss the football match between France and Spain.

    Bye
